I agree, and would like to add that real women are also children and old people, and that our ‘standards’ for beauty in general are incredibly age-ist.

I know this is supposed to be good and helpful but I have issues with this.
1) Any sort of body shaming is shaming! There are as many types of bodies as there are colors and all of them are completely valid.
2) Something that states what “beauty is…” isn’t helpful! It’s dictating what is “good” and what is “bad” about appearance. Even if you personally agree with the statement, it’s reinforcing the idea that our bodies have to meet some other persons beauty standards.
3) I’m pretty sure most people can see their elbows point when the bend their arms, or an Adam’s apple, or knuckles. An essential part of the human body is the skeleton.
